Tang Acupuncture clinic provides service in the area of Atlanta Georgia

Welcome to Tang Acupuncture Clinic. We specialize in pain management, face rejuvenation, infertility, women’s and men’s health issues, anxiety, weight loss, detoxification, as well as other chronic condition using acupuncture, herbs, and nutrition. Our acupuncture clinic has two locations:

Alpharetta office: 401 S Main St, Suite B5, 30009.

Atlanta office: 3114 Mercer University Dr, Suite 100, 30341.

Our locations have easy access from north of Atlanta, e.g. Alpharetta, Woodstock, Canton, Johns Creek, Duluth, Cumming and Suwanee, and from south of Atlanta, e.g. like Decatur, Atlanta, Brookhaven, Buckhead and Sandy Springs.

At Tang Acupuncture Clinic, we combine the concept and spirit of Traditional Chinese Medicine with the latest research into the practice of acupuncture and the science of herbal medicine. We therefore explore many aspects of our patients’ life styles, including diet and nutrition, emotional stress and other factors which impact on the body’s ability to heal itself.

Most of our acupuncturists of our clinic graduated from best Universities of Chinese Medicine from China,and were granted medical degrees (China) and Doctor degrees of integrative medicine. Insurance coverage

Commercial Insurance
Tang Acupuncture is in-network with Aetna, BCBS, and UnitedHealthcare.

  • Not all plans cover acupuncture, and many only cover it for pain management.
  • To check your coverage, call your insurance’s member services or log in to your portal.

Veterans
We participate in the Veterans Community Care Program.

  • A referral from a VA doctor is required for acupuncture.
  • Veterans interested in alternative therapy should contact their VA provider to request a referral.

Medicare & Medicare Advantage

  • Medicare covers acupuncture only for chronic lower back pain lasting 12+ weeks, with 12–20 sessions per year.
  • Tang Acupuncture is not a Medicare provider, and coverage depends on your plan.
  • Some Medicare Advantage plans may include independent acupuncturists, but Tang Acupuncture is not recognized by UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage or contracted with American Specialty Health (ASH).

Flexible Spending Accounts & Health Savings Accounts

  • Acupuncture is eligible for FSA, HSA, and HRA reimbursement.
  • It is not eligible for limited care FSAs (LCFSA) or dependent care FSAs (DCFSA).
